Composition:

active substances: 1 ml of drops contains: tinctura Valerianae (1: 5) (extractant - ethanol 70%) - 0.34 ml, hawthorn tinctura Crataegi (1:10) (extractant - ethanol 70%) - 0.33 ml, tincture Leonurus tinctura (1: 5) (extractant - ethanol 70%) - 0.33 ml.

Dosage form.

Oral drops. The liquid from yellowish brown to brownish-brown color with the smell of valerian. During storage, a precipitate may form.

Cardiological and sedative. The therapeutic effect of the drug Trikardine heart drops is due to the action of a complex of biologically active substances of roots and rhizomes of valerian, hawthorn fruit, motherwort herb.
Biologically active substances contained in hawthorn fruits (flavonoids, choline, acetylcholine, tannins, phytosterols) have antihypertensive, cardioprotective, antispasmodic properties; increase blood circulation in the coronary vessels and in the vessels of the brain, increase the sensitivity of the myocardium to the action of cardiac glycosides, slightly increase the contractions of the heart muscle and at the same time reduce its excitability.

Biologically active substances contained in the roots and rhizome of valerian (Borneo and isovaleric acid ester, borneol, isovaleric acid, alkaloids, tannins, sugars), reduce the excitability of the central nervous system, reduce stress and irritability in mental fatigue and mental fatigue, show sedative , hypnotics, spasmolytic properties, enhance the effect of other drugs that have a depressing effect on the central nervous system, namely, sedatives, hypnotics, tranquilizers. In addition, the biologically active substances of valerian show a choleretic effect, slow heart rate, dilate the coronary vessels of the heart, enhance the secretory activity of the gastric mucosa.
