SONDOX instructions for use
Composition:
1 tablet contains - doxylamine succinate - 0.015 g; auxiliary substances: magnesium stearate, lactose, potato starch, microcrystalline cellulose.

pharmachologic effect
By chemical structure and action is close to dimedrol. Has anti-allergic effect. It penetrates into the central nervous system and has a pronounced sedative effect, therefore it is specially used as a hypnotic drug (first generation). Reduces the time of falling asleep, increases the duration and quality of sleep, while not changing the phase of sleep. The active substance of tablets Sondox - doxylamine succinate, is well absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract. Passes histohematological barriers (including blood-brain barrier) and is distributed to tissues and organs. Biotransformation is carried out in the liver. The main part of doxylamine succinate (about 60%) is excreted unchanged in urine, part - with feces.
Indications
Sondox is used for various sleep disorders.
Contraindications
The drug should not be used for patients with glaucoma, urinary tract and prostate diseases, women during lactation (when taking the drug, you must stop breastfeeding). The drug should not be administered to children under 15 years of age.
Mode of application
Only for adults and teenagers over 15 years! Sondox tablets are administered by mouth 1 tablet every 15-30 minutes before the desired time to fall asleep. Tablets should be washed down with a small amount of water. If you need to reduce the dose to 1/2 tablets or increase to 2 tablets, you should consult your doctor.
Side effects
In case of appearance of undesirable phenomena, it is necessary to consult a doctor. The drug is usually well tolerated, but the following side effects are possible: dry mouth, impaired vision, constipation, difficulty urinating (especially in patients with a tendency to these phenomena).
